The Cubs, The White Sox, The Bears, The Bulls…Chicago is home to some of the most popular sports teams and is actually one of four U.S. cities to have teams from the five major American professional team sports (baseball, football, basketball, hockey, soccer). It should come as no surprise, then, that the city is also home to some great sports bars where the notoriously diehard fans can cheer on their favorite teams. If you have a favorite Chicago team or want to experience the sports scene first hand, check out one of these great sports bars:

The Cubby Bear: The Cubby Bear, located directly across from the main entrance of Wrigley Field, is one of the most classic and famous Chicago sports bars. With over 30,000 square feet of space, it is a great place to watch a Cubs game if you can’t get tickets. With five projection screen TVs and over 75 plasma TVs throughout, you will never miss a play. 1059 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60613

Sluggers: ESPN named Sluggers the best baseball bar in Chicago and the third best in the country. It’s easy to see why. Sluggers has many TVs and a large outdoor patio. If a game gets you inspired to get active yourself, head to the full indoor sports complex that has batting cages or trampoline basketball. If the sporty atmosphere doesn’t get you, the dueling pianos just might. 3540 N Clark St Chicago, IL 60657

Joe’s Bar: With over 100 TVs and high definition projector screens, you will certainly find your game playing at Joe’s. Many of the booths and tables also have personal TVs. The 20,000 square-foot warehouse-style venue also has a full-size stage for music performers and a 6,000 square foot patio. The bar hosts four college alumni groups, including Fighting Illini, the Indiana Hoosiers and the Georgia Bulldogs. 940 W Weed St Chicago, IL 60622

Mother Hubbards: Mother Hubbard’s has the most satellite receivers in the area and always has many different games showing at the same time. Tables during big games go fast, so arrive early! 5 W. Hubbard St. Chicago, IL 60654

It is finally starting to feel like spring in the Big Apple, so if you are in the area, get outside and enjoy it at one of these parks:

Brooklyn Bridge Park: Since its debut almost three years ago, the 85-acre Brooklyn Bridge Park on the Brooklyn waterfront has become wildly popular. At the park, you can ride Jane’s Carousel, a restored 1920s merry-go-round, bike on the designated bike paths, lounge on the lush lawns and take in the dramatic Manhattan views. Grab a glass of wine at the Brooklyn Bridge Wine Bar. Brooklyn Bridge Park is accessible by several subway lines (A/C, 2/3, 4/5, F, R) and bus routes (B25, B63). 334 Furman St Brooklyn, NY 11201

Pelham Bay Park: With a rocky coast, marshy inlets and lush forest, Pelham Bay Park is not something you would picture in New York. At 2,766 acres, it is the city’s largest park and is actually three times the size of Central Park. There are five miles of protected bike paths throughout the area, bocce, tennis and handball courts, and horseback riding. Golfers can choose from two courses — the Pelham Course which has expansive fairways and a forgiving layout and Split Rock, a championship caliber John Van Kleek design. With over 13 miles of coastline, there are also many places to fish throughout the park. You can access Pelham Bay via the 6 line.

Inwood Hill Park: Make your way to the northernmost corner of Manhattan, and you will find Inwood Hill Park, which contains the last natural forest and salt marsh in Manhattan. Much of the park has never been developed due to its comparatively remote location. The park has athletic fields, playgrounds, dog runs and a barbecue area. You can walk a hiking trail or cycle on the Hudson River Bike Trail. The park entrance is at 218th Street & Indian Road.

San Diego also has some of the world’s best animal attractions. If you are planning a trip to Southern California, make sure to visit:

Around the country, cities have been focused on catering to cyclists for health, social and environmental reasons. From creating bike lanes to setting up bike parking stations and bike sharing programs, like the one set to launch in New York City at the end of this month, getting around (and even commuting) in urban areas on two wheels has never been easier. San Francisco is considered one of the most bike-able cities in the United States, following vast improvement to the city’s infrastructure. Just last week, the city hosted its annual Bike to Work Day, in which bikes accounted for 76% of inbound traffic on the busy Market Street during the morning commute. Impressive!

If you’re in ‘Frisco and up for a ride, check out these routes:

The Golden Gate Bridge: Not surprisingly, riding over the Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most popular biking routes in the city. Cycle over the famous landmark from San Francisco to Sausalito, a Mediterranean-style village and experience the stunning views. Depending on where you start (many tours start in Fisherman’s Wharf), it is a distance of about nine miles. Many people choose to return to San Francisco on a ferry.

Presidio: A former military base on the northern side of the San Francisco Peninsula, bike trails on Presido, today a national park, will take you by historic military architecture, alongside marshes and beaches, and offer scenic views of the Bay Area. As a cyclist, you can ride 14 miles of paved roads and along some unpaved parts of the Bay Area Ridge Trail. If you’re a bird watcher, be on the lookout for over 200 species that flock to the area in the summer.

Angel Island: The five-mile partially-paved perimeter loop around Angel Island State Park, which is closed to cars, offers amazing views of the city. You can bring your own bike via ferry or you can rent bikes on the island daily, April thru October. Expect some moderately steep but short uphill climbs on the perimeter path.

Organic, of course, refers to the way farmers grow and process agricultural products — promoting healthy eco-systems and not using synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Many restaurants are now committed to serving food that is made from organic ingredients, many from local farms in their area. If you are in Philadelphia and are interested in eating organic, try these places:

White Dog Café: In the early 1980’s, social activist Judy Wicks opened the White Dog Café, then a tiny shop serving only muffins and coffee. Today, it is recognized nationally and has expanded its offerings to include robust brunch, lunch and dinner menus. White Dog Café serves local, seasonal ingredients from farms — no more than 50 miles from its restaurants — that practice sustainable farming methods. Current dishes on the menu include Kennett Square Mushroom Soup, Berkshire Pressed Pork Sandwich and Orange Ginger Glazed Tofu. 3420 Sansom Street, Philadelphia

FARMiCiA: The 122-seat charming FARMiCiA focuses on simply crafted food and beverages crafted from local, high quality, organic and artisanal producers. Located in Philadelphia’s historic Old City, FARMiCiA serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. The menu is full of dishes made from fresh and seasonal ingredients and caters nicely to vegetarian eaters. Added bonus: You can BYO wine every night with no corkage fee. 15 S 3rd St, Philadelphia

Fuel: If you are looking to grab a quick organic bite in a hurry, check out Fuel. The eatery serves panini’s, wraps and salads — all under 500 calories — made fresh with 100% organic ingredients. Fuel was named Best of 2012 in Philadelphia for Best Hummus, Best Soup, Best Lunch Spot and Best Healthy Menu. Fuel also has a full juice bar, if you are looking for a little boost! Don’t forget the guilt-free desserts! 1225 Walnut St, Philadelphia 19107

National Car Rental is on a mission to help business travelers Go Like a Pro.

Today’s technological advancements can considerably enhance a business trip and create great efficiencies in workflow. There are so many new gadgets, devices and apps on the market, though, that it can be overwhelming to know how to Go Like a TECH Pro.

Sonpreet Bhatia, Co-Founder and COO of mobile tech startup MyCityWay, a self-proclaimed gadget junkie and a frequent business traveler herself, was commissioned to share her advice on how to Go Like a TECH Pro. Her company’s flagship app, MyCityWay Now, is the ultimate local search and discovery engine, helping business travelers in over 100 cities around the world navigate unfamiliar areas. Bringing the utility of more than 30 apps into one, business travelers can find nearby restaurants, directions around the city, public transit, parking garages, local news and weather, and more without leaving the sleek interface. Instead of needing multiple apps to get around a city, business travelers can access all of the information they need in one place – a nice reprieve from the days of smartphones cluttered with limited-use apps.

In addition to MyCityWay, Sonpreet has curated the below list of her favorite technology to help you Go Like a TECH Pro.

Powerbag: If you are traveling with multiple devices (let’s face it, who isn’t these days), you need a bag that plays double duty – allowing you to carry everything and to charge your electronics on-the-go. The bag comes with connection cables for almost all contemporary electronics and if you charge the bag in your hotel room overnight, you will be able to fully charge multiple devices the next day. ($58.99)

T-Mobile 4G Hotspot: When you’re traveling, hotel and airport Wi-Fi can be slow, at best. With a hotspot, like this one from T-Mobile, you can enjoy 4G speeds anywhere. This device also lets you share large files through a wireless flash drive. ($65.88)

Kensington Pocket Battery: We’ve all been there. You’re on the road without an outlet in sight and your battery dies, usually at the worst time possible. Pocket sized batteries, like this model from Kensington, can give you up to 3.5 more hours of battery time. ($28.24)

Naztech Universal Dashboard and Window Mount: Perfect for when you’re traveling and need help navigating with your phone’s GPS. This mount won’t slide off your dash as you’re driving, so you can keep your focus on the road. ($20.47)

iTwin Plug’n'Play Remote File Access USB Device: Portable and functional, this USB device allows you to connect with files on your computer from home or the office while on the go. With no size limit, you can effortlessly access any file on an internet-connected computer. ($59.99)

Air-O-Swiss Travel Ultrasonic Humidifier: One of the worst parts of traveling is the dry, recycled air in hotel rooms. This humidifier uses a bottle of water and high-frequency vibrations to generate a micro-fine cool mist.($39.99)

It’s easy to see why — The vibrant city is not only affordable, but it always has something going on. “Alamo City,” as it’s known, has great restaurants, fine art museums, historic attractions, amusement parks and more. Here’s how to Eat, Play and Learn in the Texas city:

Eat: In San Antonio, you can find so much more than Tex Mex — Mexican cantinas, French bistros, German bakeries and Italian trattorias – you name it. But if you are visiting San Antonio, you must try the cuisine it is known for. Head to the River Walk and try Acenar or Casa Rio. The Market Square area of town also has great options, like Mi Tierra or La Margarita.

Play: Sitting on more than 250 acres, Sea World San Antonio is the world’s largest marine-life theme park. The park has many exhibits, including dolphins, penguins, flamingos, sharks and alligators. The park’s signature animal shows are the main attraction, featuring beluga whales, exotic dolphins, sea lions and acrobatic performers. Its waterpark Aquatica™ has more than 42,000 square feet of sandy beaches sandy beaches, two terraced pools, a giant wave pool, winding rivers and high-adrenaline rides – including a family raft ride that goes underwater through a reef filled with stingrays and tropical fish. The city also has a Zoo and Aquarium that houses over 9,000 animals of 779 species and spans 35 acres.

Learn: San Antonio is one of the oldest European settlements in Texas, having become a Spanish colonial city following the construction of a fort in 1717. Today, the city has many cultural and historic sites to visit. The Alamo Trolley Tour is a great way to experience it all. The tour stops at The Alamo, which was established in 1718 as San Antonio’s first mission and was later the site of the Battle of the Alamo, which claimed the life of frontiersman Davy Crockett. The tour also includes the Mission San Jose, which was founded in 1720 and provides a great example of how all the missions might have looked over 250 years ago. You can also explore San Fernando Cathedral, one of the oldest Catholic parish churches in the southwest; La Villita, the oldest surviving neighborhood of San Antonio dating from the 1750s; and of course, the famous River Walk which winds through the city’s center. We recommend you purchase a Hop Pass, which gives you all-day unlimited re-boarding at any of the Alamo Trolley Hop stops so you can spend more time exploring the stops.

To be updated on events, dining and other important information about San Antonio you can download the MyCityWay application for iPhone, Blackberry, Windows and Android or find us on Facebook and Twitter.

Bay Ridge, Brooklyn’s ‘Little Ireland,’ is one of the best neighborhoods in New York City to get a true taste (and drink) of Ireland. If you are in Bay Ridge and are looking for a well-poured Guinness, check out one of these Irish pubs in the neighborhood:

The Wicked Monk: The Wicked Monk was built to resemble a Gothic Irish Monastery using imported materials from monasteries in Ireland, with meticulous attention to detail in the furnishings, woodwork and glassware. Affectionately called “The Monk” by many of its patrons, the bar has a good selection of beer, including many brewed in Brooklyn, as well as traditional Irish staples like Shepherd’s Pie. 9510 3rd Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11209

Kitty Kiernans: Since opening its doors in 1996, the Kitty Kiernans has become a favorite spot – and local landmark — in Bay Ridge. The bar has a very authentic interior (deep red walls and dark wooden bar) and exterior Irish public house look and feel, which led to Director Spike Lee’s decision to use it as a backdrop in many scenes of the hit movie The 25th Hour. Every Saturday night, you can catch live Irish music and the pub hosts open mic nights on Thursdays. Kitty’s has a wide selection of beer by the glass or the traditional 20-ounce pint. 9715 3rd Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11209

The Harp: The Harp is a relatively new addition to the bar scene in Bay Ridge. It has an outdoor patio for warmer weather and a cozy corner fire place with seating for colder months. With multiple TV’s, The Harp is a great place if you are trying to catch a game (or is it a match?). 7710 3rd Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11209
