BORN ELECTRIC WORLD TOUR

BMW i presented its Megacity Vehicle, the BMW i3 Concept, and the most progressive sportscar, the BMW i8 Concept Spyder, as well as its future of mobility services at a unique week-long exhibition in NYC.
BMW was under an incredibly tight time-frame, had press and dignitaries arriving from around the world, and over 12,000 VIPs and members of the public expected to attend.
They needed a mobile solution that would meet their branding expectations, communicate multi-media event and product information, plus live announcements, provide useful, actionable lifestyle content for visitors, and afford the opportunity to engage with attendees regularly beyond the event.

A custom version of MyCityWay Now 'built' in 24 hours, and activated by simply entering "BMW" when prompted within the app.
A prominent BMW i Born Electric header displayed across the top of all home screens.
Custom, interactive channels including videos of the new cars in action, an event schedule, streaming Twitter and Facebook feeds, location/map, and an "About" the Tour section.
BMW promoted their custom app in advance via their social channels, site, email, press and on-site at the event with signage and bookmark giveaways.
The BMWi Born Electric Tour app was named an Official Honoree for the 17th Annual Webby Awards. Out of 11,000 entries from over 60 countries, the distinction is awarded to the top 10% of all work entered.

Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks are two of the most popular and anticipated events every year.
Macy’s attracts tens-of-millions of spectators, both in person in New York City and at home through live televised broadcasts.
Macy’s sought to engage with its audience during these marquee events by providing a unique, interactive and fun multi-platform social-mobile experience that aligned with its branding and messaging.

MyCityWay created the first ever Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade app in 2011, the Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks 2012 app, and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2012 app.
Prominent branding and design was integrated as directed by Macy’s.
Unique, interactive features that provided first and second screen experiences for attendees and home viewers.
One-stop destination apps for viewers, including information on each event plus a comprehensive guide to enjoying and getting in and around New York City.
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2012 app included an augmented reality feature that allowed viewers user to impose their faces on parade balloons and share it across social media.
The marquee event apps were promoted heavily through advertising, social channels, website and significant press and reached top spots in iTunes.
